About the Recipe

Tasty, tangy, a special meal that's easy to prepare. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes, with a salad or green vegetable on the side, for a special meal.

Ingredients

2 Tbsp vegetable oil

6 skinless and boneless chicken breast halves

½ cup teriyaki sauce

½ cup ranch salad dressing

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

3 green onions, chopped

1½ oz crumbled bacon or bacon bits

1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional garnish)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350° F (175° C).

In a large frying pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken breasts and sauté until lightly browned, about 5 min per side. Place the browned chicken breasts in a 9" × 13" baking dish.

Brush the chicken with the teriyaki sauce. Spoon the salad dressing over the chicken. Sprinkle the chicken with the cheddar cheese, green onions, and bacon bits.

Bake in oven until the chicken is cooked through, about 25-30 minutes. Chicken should read 165° F (75° C) when checked with a meat thermometer in the thickest part.

Garnish with parsley if desired, and serve.
