About the Recipe
Our son is allergic to milk proteins, so we make many dishes without dairy. For recipes that need the salty, nutty flavor of Parmesan cheese, this is our favorite substitute.
Ingredients
1 cup raw cashews
4 Tbsp nutritional yeast
1 tsp salt
½ tsp garlic powder
Preparation
Mix together all ingredients. Blend in a food processor until they're the consistency of grated parmesan cheese, a slightly clumped powder.
