About the Recipe
A favorite cookie, made with instant vanilla pudding.
1 cup butter, softened
¾ cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup white sugar
1 3.5 oz package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2¼ cups white flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 375° F/190° C.
In a mixing bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Add pudding mix, eggs, and vanilla. Combine flour and baking soda, and add to creamed mixture and mix thoroughly. Fold in chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
